DOUG ANDREWS INDUCTED 2020
Doug was inducted into the AAMD Hall of Fame based on his exceptional leadership experience and impact he has made on the Denver multifamily industry . In the past 30 years , Doug has been a part of the sale of more apartment buildings than any other apartment brokerage team in the history of Colorado .
ROBERT ALLDREDGE INDUCTED 2016
Known for his excellent leadership , Bob kept IROC going through the 80 ’ s during the oil bust . He ’ s the central force behind our collation with NARPM , and is still today very active in defending our industry on JLAC . Bob is a “ tough as nails ” sort of guy with a super warm heart , active in charity events and served the AAMD Board for several terms .
W . L . ( DOC ) ASHER INDUCTED 2016
Doc Asher began his career in 1973 with the purchase of a 36-unit property in Capitol Hill . When he retired in 2015 , he had bought , sold or converted 37 properties in Colorado , and 10 others in 5 states across the country . During this time , he maintained a medical practice , but the apartment industry remained his driving passion .
FOY BAILEY INDUCTED 2015
With a quarter century of AAMD involvement , highlighted by generous support , volunteerism and sponsorship for the AAMD Tributes from 2002-2015 , Foy Bailey is deeply passionate about recognizing and celebrating the people who make this industry great . Foy , her family and the Community Interiors team were profoundly involved in nearly every AAMD event for over 18 years .
RAY BAKER INDUCTED 2016
Ray led the charge on creating a foundation to make sure rent control was defeated when it first appeared many years ago . He was also one of the leaders that got the first Vacancy and Rent Study completed with Gordon Von Stroh . He is the founder of the Gold Crown Foundation , which educates kids through sports and enrichment programs .
LAUREN BROCKMAN INDUCTED 2016
Known for his bold passion to defend our industry , lauren was AAMD President in 1999- 2000 , CAA President in 2003- 2004 , and still very active on JLAC and NMHC . He initiated AAMD ’ s Reserve Funding , which has now grown to nearly $ 2M . Lauren is the “ father ” of the AAMD Chili Cookoff , and a very practical man who is always willing to look “ on the flip side .”
