When asked which services , if any , they were unable to access in their language , 43 LEP respondents wrote that they were unable to access interpretation and translation services ; 37 respondents identified medical and health services ; and another 37 cited financial and economic services , including aid for rent payment and medical bills . Thirty respondents identified housing services , and 17 cited transportation services .
Language was the most prevalent barrier cited by LEP respondents , followed by technology . More than half ( 53 %) of LEP respondents identified language as a barrier or challenge to accessing information about the services they needed , while 36 % identified technology as a barrier .
