JUNIOR OPEN MEAT GOATS SANCTIONED BOER GOAT SHOW AMOUNT OFFERED : $ 1560.00 SATURDAY , JULY 30 , 2022 - AFTER OPEN SHOW

ENTRY FEE : $ 3.00 / entry PEN FEE : $ 5.00 / pen ( if not paid in Open show )

IL STATE RULE 260.95 Junior classes are open to boys and girls who are eight ( 8 ) years of age and not yet 21 years of age on or before September 1 of the year previous to the Fair . All animals shown in junior classes must be the property of the boys and girls showing them . If the same animals are shown in both the open classes and junior classes , they shall be shown under the same exhibitor ’ s name .

1 . Release time is Saturday , July 30 after 6:30 pm . NO EXCEPTIONS ! 2 . Entries close July 15 . 3 . Give number of animals and number of pens needed . Note any special request on entry form and Superintendent will try to comply . 3 . All animals must be registered in the name of the exhibitor and registered with the American Boer Goat Association . 4 . All entry reports must be available the day of the show . Entry reports will be mailed or can be picked up before the fair starts . 5 . Read the rules governing Livestock Exhibitors at Illinois Fairs in this book . 6 . All entries must be in place by 10 am on Friday , July 29 and exhibitors must enter through the South gate off

Fairgrounds Road . No Meat Goats will be allowed on the grounds before Friday . 7 . Judging Order : Wethers , Full blood does , Percentage Does , Commercial All other meat goats . 8 . Any animals with ringworm or abscesses means the entire herd will be sent home . No refund of entry fees . 9 . Exhibitors will be assigned pens . Premium money may be withheld if changes are made without approval of the

Superintendents . 10 . Health papers will be collected by superintendent upon goat ’ s arrival . They will be returned after examined by VET and CVI is stamped . NO EXCEPTIONS ! 11 . Livestock trailers must be parked in designated area . NO EXCEPTIONS ! 12 . NO wash racks may be used in the building without the superintendents approval . 13 . NO DOGS ALLOWED ! 14 . NO moving classes . 15 . Jr . Auction Livestock Sale Form must be turned in to one of the Goat Superintendents by Wednesday , July 27 , 2022 .
