These ingredients are crucial to the environment as they provide multiple benefits to the environment , such as reducing food waste and carbon footprints . They are eco-friendly , serve as ethical alternatives to meat products , and are affordable .
Sustainable packaging is also reshaping commerce around the world . Six trends that are making an impact include : recycling plastics , paper and glass packaging , bioplastics , reusable packaging , minimalist packaging , and smart label technology . With environmentally friendly packaging , consumers are drawn to products that also have a positive impact on the environment .
