FEATURED SESSION Intentional Outdoor Play Friday , April 29 , 8:00-9:00 Outdoor play can contribute to a child ’ s overall development by providing them opportunities to explore their physical capabilities in new ways without restrictions of indoor play . Outdoor play allows for fine / gross-motor development , language and social skills . We will review the benefits of outdoor play and how the environment offers unique stimulus that capture children ’ s attention and interest . We will learn how to effectively plan intentional outdoor learning activities to engage children in play to spark their curiosity and engage their senses .
