MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
LGCC Memberships continue to grow this year . The July 2022 membership report has 16 Net New Members , which equals our total net gain in membership for 2021 . The most important aspect of our new membership growth is that 80 % are full memberships . Last year ’ s growth did not reflect these types of membership , so we are adding members who want all the benefits the club offers . Full memberships include golf , food & beverage , pool and social events . LGCC needs to continue adding new members . It is encouraged that our members help us promote the club , so we can meet our goal of 25 Net New members for this year . We need both membership growth and engagement to have a prosperous and sustainable club .
Members are our best ambassadors to introduce or refer potential members to Deborah Goglia . The best time to bring potential new members to the club is during the summer when many events are happening , and the pool is open . So , let us make August our best month this year for adding new members !
We have had multiple major event weekends this year which the whole family could participate in . They include :
• “ Stars and Strips ” Memorial Day Weekend .
• Member / Guest weekend which featured a concert by S . J . McDonald .
• July 4th weekend including the Red , White and Blue events .
• Member / Member weekend with Caribbean Buffet and music by Little Marvin and the Martians .
These major event weekends , pool events , along with our new executive chef C . B . Braxton and new menu items has generated excitement this year within our LGCC membership . Make sure that you and your family experience all that LGCC has to offer ! If you have not visited our pool area this year , you are missing out ! Enjoy the best pool in the Valley , with our new Pool Gate Café and upgraded facilities .
Our committee ’ s goal is to grow our membership and create exciting events for all members and their families . Let ’ s make 2022 a tremendous year for everyone at Lexington Golf and Country Club .
