INTERIM GENERAL MANAGER
It has been almost a month since I was asked to take over the role of Interim General Manager here at the club . Over the last few weeks , the team here has been working diligently on improving all areas around the club , focusing on service and the overall experience to our members . It is my intention to continue to work towards resolving many of the issues currently facing the club .
With that said , I am very excited to announce some of the ongoing initiatives here at LGCC . We have some very exciting news regarding the pool ! I have been working very closely with the Pool and Courts Committee on improvements at the pool for this season . These improvements include building more shaded areas around the pool and a ‘ Pool Gate Café ’ where limited food service and drinks will be served . It is our hope that the member experience and engagement throughout the summer is increased , and the new atmosphere is somewhere you can enjoy some fun in the sun with your family .
Golfers , please be aware of some upcoming events on the course to include the Ladies Spring Fling event held on April 23 and the one-day Member / Guest event on April 30 . The one-day Member / Guest is open to both men and women and we encourage everyone to sign up for the event . It will be a great day to show your guest what being part of LGCC is all about ! For further information pertaining to all the golf events please inquire within the pro shop .
Weare excited to host Music with Jason and Prime Rib Dinner night on Friday , April 15 and our Easter Brunch Sunday , April 17 . Please be sure to make your reservations early !
I appreciate your patience with our onsite staff and IT department at Troon , while we work through another set of issues pertaining to member access on the website . It could not have come at a worse time than it did being end of month . With that said , we are diligently working through those issues to get full access back to our members . I will also be working on updating the information on the website to accurately provide the members with current information and updates pertaining to the club .
I would like to extend my gratitude and appreciation to the Board of Directors and membership for having the confidence in me to be your Interim General Manager . The team has a lot of work ahead of us heading into our peak season , however I am confident we will be able to deliver a better member experience ever seen before here at LGCC .
