SHOULD WE CONTINUE WITH THE CAMPAIGN AND WHY ?
All coordinators are unanimous in their decision to continue with the One Billion Rising campaign – because it has amplified , strengthened , sustained , expanded , galvanized , deepened and intensified their work in ways that no other campaign has . It has also exposed and highlighted , validated , escalated and magnified their work , as well as connected it with a larger global movement , creating valuable solidarity- in these times of increasing political suppression and oppression , which they have relied on to be able to continue . It has energized them to keep doing the work despite and against all odds and obstacles and increasing challenges . And that it has given exuberance , dynamism , creativity , joy , hope and vigor to all the expressions of their activism which they do not often experience outside of OBR .
