EWL ( EUROPEAN WOMEN ’ S LOBBY ) EWL Directors travelled to Strasbourg , France , where the European Parliament plenary session took place – where they coordinated an action and photo call attended by 20 EU MP ’ s from across Europe for the official launch of the EU Directive on combating violence against women and domestic violence – which is a historic landmark .
BANGLADESH As well as a large artists rising online with strong artists support , 15 orphanages from 15 rural areas held OBR events with Karate events . In another 15 rural areas , tree planting ceremonies were held in honor of Kamla Bhasin .
GUATEMALA In Antigua , women workers did a 5-hour OBR on empowerment with lots of dancing .
