Our mission is to make a genuine difference in the health and well-being of the people and communities we serve .
With that in mind , Renown reinvests what we earn as a not-for-profit into expertise , staffing , new equipment , technology upgrades , facility improvements , research and community service programs that benefit Nevadans . We are fortunate to have charitable partners and generous donors whose funding helps to support and expand our efforts .
When our health system answered the call to respond to COVID-19 , we overcame a multitude of financial challenges to continue to provide necessary care to our community . Most recently , we have seen an increased demand nation-wide for the roles we seek to employ at Renown Health . In addition , expenses for healthcare supplies continue to rise . Overall , the cost to provide lifesaving and innovative care has increased for all health systems . Renown continues to pursue the most cost-effective solutions for providing the high-quality care that we ’ re known for .
