Lake Minnewashta Regional Park
6900 Hazeltine Blvd ., Chanhassen , MN 55331 Located along Hwy . 41 , between Hwy . 5 and Hwy . 7 , west of Chanhassen
Lake Minnewashta Regional Park is a 340-acre park situated on the shores of Lake Minnewashta . Facilities include a swimming beach , bathhouse , off-leash dog area , reservable picnic shelters , sand volleyball courts , creative playground , paved boat access , paved bike trails , turf trails for walking and skiing , ski / snowshoe rental , and vending machines . Park hours are from 6 a . m . to 10 p . m . ( During the fishing season , the park will open at 5 a . m .)
Lake Waconia Regional Park
8170 Paradise Lane , Waconia , MN 55387 Located just east of Waconia off of Hwy . 5 , on Paradise
Lane next to the Lakeside Ballroom
Lake Waconia Regional Park is a 100-acre park situated on the southern shore of Lake Waconia . This shoreline park offers views to the lake and Coney Island . The park is in its early development for the future 164-acre park including Coney Island of the West . Boat access is provided outside the park at the Minnesota DNR boat access located on the northeast side of the lake , and at private marinas located in the City of Waconia . Park hours are 6 a . m . to 10 p . m . daily .
Dakota Rail Regional Trail
The Trail runs from New Germany along the county line to Hennepin County .
The New Germany Trailhead is located at County Road 30 and the east side of County Road 33 in New Germany .
The Mayer Trailhead is located at Highway 25 and County Road 30 in Mayer .
The trail runs through St . Bonifacius in Hennepin County at Kennedy Memorial Dr . and Bell St . This is not managed by Carver County .
