CRIME STATISTICS SUMMARY SIENA HEIGHTS UNIVERSITY ADRIAN CAMPUS
This data reports criminal offenses and was compiled according to the guidelines of the Student Right to Know Act , enacted in 1997 , and all its revisions . These statistics also include “ any building or property that is within or reasonably contiguous geographic area of the institution ,” in compliance with the “ Right to Know Act ” specifications .
The Daily Crime Logs will not match statistics listed in the Safety Handbook because the Daily Crime Logs use plain language and the statistics are classified by the Uniform Crime Reporting ( UCR ) system .
For the Adrian campus ; trip crime statistics are included in the non-campus categories . Definition of trip for Clery purposes is : Repeated use of location for school sponsored trip ( overnight trip every year staying in same hotel ) and Short-stay “ away ” trips ( more than one night with controlled locations used by students and used to support educational purposes ). These statistics are requested annually from the law enforcement agencies in the jurisdiction of the trip location .
