TIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS CONT .
If an international student violates the rules of Siena Heights University and are disciplined by suspension or dismissal from the University , they will not have maintained legal status under the immigration laws , and can be deported for that reason . Students cannot be deported for violating a University regulation , but they can be deported for not being students in legal status . Also , sponsored students must keep in mind the regulations of the sponsoring agency . If those regulations are violated , the agency may withdraw financial and / or visa sponsorship . Finally , a student should consider the attitude of his / her home government toward any of his / her actions here , for the home / government is able to withdraw or cancel one ’ s passport .

Tobacco Products
Use of tobacco products on Siena Heights University property is prohibited . For most businesses in the Lenawee County area smoking is prohibited inside . If you want to smoke , first look for “ no smoking ” signs or ask an employee to find out if smoking is permitted . Cigarettes and other tobacco products may not be purchased or used by persons under the age of 21 .
