Middle School Homeschool Options & Fee Structure
Middle School Fine Arts Program Students in Grades 6-8 are invited to participate in the following two options :
Grades 6-12 Concert Choir – This course meets twice a week from 2:15-3:00 . ( High school credit is offered to students in Grades 9-12 when the appropriate criterion is met ; credit is available for an additional fee .) Cost : $ 250 ( per semester )
Grades 6-12 Concert Band – Opportunities to participate in Concert Band are available upon request . ( High school credit can be earned by students in Grades 9-12 for an additional fee .) Cost : $ 250 ( per semester ) Additional Cost : Instrument and book
Middle School Physical Education Students in Grades 6-8 are invited to participate in gender-specific middle school P . E . classes that meet twice a week .
Cost : $ 250 ( per semester )
Middle School Math Students in Grades 6-8 are invited to enroll in our math courses ( Math Course I , Math Course II , Pre-Algebra ). Cost : $ 350 ( per semester ) Additional Cost : Textbook
High School Homeschool Options & Fee Structure
All High School Courses All high school courses are available to homeschoolers ( as available enrollment space in each class permits ). A homeschool student may take up to two ( 2 ) credits as a part-time student . ( A student must be enrolled as a full-time student to enroll in more than two full-credit courses in a given year .)
Credit recorded on an official transcript can be earned when all course and attendance requirements are fully met ; however an additional fee of $ 100 per course is required to receive official high school credit . The request for credit must be included at the time of registration . Cost : $ 800 per full-credit course ($ 400 per half-credit course ) Additional Cost : Textbook ( s )
Homeschool students who fall into academic probation ( according to the qualifications for academic probation outlined in the school handbook ) may not be permitted to complete the course if sufficient progress is not shown within the following four weeks . There will be no refund provided .
A student must be enrolled as a full-time student during the senior year to receive a Cornerstone diploma ( provided s / he meets graduation requirements ). The student must be a full-time CCS student during the junior and senior years to be considered for Valedictorian or Salutatorian .
