Why am I Here ?

I put away a box , then another , then another . This is getting really boring , I thought to myself . I saw my mom walking with more boxes , there must be 2,000 of these ! I sighed and leaned over , this event is really nothing but trouble for me . I was only sucked into this thing because my Dad needed more help with his stupid organization ! I looked over at my brother , it seems I ’ m the only one doing work . My brother was hunched over with a Nintendo DS in his hands playing Super Mario Brothers . This is just great , I thought , I have to stay here for eight hours to support something that I ’ m not even acquainted with .
This is my dad ’ s stupid trapping I get sucked into this just ‘ cause I ’ m his daughter . Trapping is when someone traps , or captures , animals to rid places of specific animals . Usually because of overpopulation , interference with the ecosystem , or endangerment of human lives . We sell trapping lure , hats , traps , badges , raffle prizes , and other stuff an 11 year old doesn ’ t know about . Of course since my brother is glued to his game I have to do most of the heavy lifting . I ’ m stuck with all of the boxes full of junk .
This is so stupid , I stomped into the kitchen with a box full of Pepsi . My older brother chuckled , “ What ’ s got her in a bad mood ?”
I put away the soda onto the counter , “ I just don ’ t wanna do this stupid stuff !” I sounded like a whining toddler .
“ Eh ? But it ’ ll be fun .” He stated , while putting the frozen patties away . “ It ’ ll be fun for Dad , but not me !” I exclaimed pointing a thumb at my chest .
He sighed and pushed up his glasses , “ I know it ’ s not fun for you , but at least Dad would be happy .”
Oh my god , that ' s the smartest thing he ’ s ever said . He ’ s smarter than me and he doesn ’ t even know how to spell ‘ refrigerator ’?! I shook away my thought , “ Whatever ,” I said , “ I still wanna leave .”

I emptied out the last box of decorations . It looked much cleaner here , last I knew there was a sea full of heavy boxes . I wiped the sweat off my forehead . I have to admit , it was a job well done , but I still want to LEAVE ! “ I ’ m never gonna have any fun here .”
