TREVOR SCHLACK
After getting my bachelor ’ s degree in physics from Reed College , I developed image processing software for a microscopy lab at Portland State University . These experiences got me particularly interested in optical instrumentation and its applications to astronomy , which led me to join OSC ’ s graduate program this fall .
RAIVEN SMITH
My name is Rae Smith and I am an incoming Master ’ s student . I hope to use the Dean ’ s Fund for Excellence Scholarship to pursue education and research to fulfill my goal of one day helping to ameliorate the healthcare disparity in resource-poor areas and to promote optics outreach within the community .
VIVEKA BHUPASAMUDRAM RAGHU
I would like to introduce myself as Viveka B R , a masters student at OSC . I am interested in Photonics and Optical Engineering . I would like to have a research career in the broad areas of Photonics and Imaging . I am extremely grateful that I have been given 2021-22 OSC Departmental Scholarship . This award will help me financially .
CLAY KINGSLEY
My time at OSC as an undergrad was so phenomenal I had to come back for a victory lap ! After interning at MIT Lincoln Labs this summer , I am looking to return there following my graduation in Spring 2022 . My MS project will concern consumer AR technology .
