the prior few years , the 2020 year-end statistics are nothing short of staggering :
• Pending Sales were up 30.7 % over 2019
• Average Sales Price was up 20.5 % over 2019
• Properties , on average , sold for 97.4 % of List Price
• New Listings were up 5.5 % and yet the number of homes available for sale decreased 51.3 %
• Sales over $ 1 Million had a 120 % increase over 2019
At Collins Group Realty , we shifted to a fully virtual workplace in March , putting the safety of our team and clients as top priority . I ’ ve never been more proud of my team as they adjusted to a new way of doing business while preserving our deep commitment to excellent service , professionalism , and teamwork .
The Result was a record-year of sales for our team , assisting 407 buyer and seller clients in $ 215 Million of sales , all while holding to our commitment to community service , whereby we also set records for charitable donations as we reinvented effective ways to give back amid the overlay of the pandemic .
2020 was certainly a remarkable year on all fronts , and we are excited to share the finer details of how the real estate market performed through this annual report , as we also outline our thoughts and insights into what we anticipate will shape the market-year in 2021 .
