A Blast from the Pandemic

Kiera was flopped onto her bed, reading her thick encyclopedia with great interest. She knew that everything was digital now and books made of paper weren’t that common, but she still liked to remind herself of simpler times -- like in the 1800’s, when wifi didn’t even exist! She absolutely adored reading about history and new things. This was one of her favorite pastimes. But today was just a bit different. She was reading one of her most beloved books, when she came across something called the….coronavirus? “Hm….” she thought to herself.
