H aving fun and bringing people together is what baseball is all about . It ’ s also what was on Harmon Dobson ’ s mind when he fired up the grill in a tiny burger stand on Ayers Street . Seventy years and one baseball stadium later , with over 800 restaurants in 10 states , we at Whataburger have never forgotten where we come from . We may have locations across the country , but our birthplace will always be Corpus Christi . And we ’ ll never forget it .
