Sullivan , SJ . Since then I have enjoyed going back nearly every summer with a great group of alumni , faculty and students . These trips show what Fordham Prep ’ s motto of “ Men for Others ” is really about .
I feel that it is important to give back because Fordham Prep played such a big part in my development academically , professionally and spiritually . Many of the faculty and staff at the Prep helped shape the person I am today , and they continue to play a part in my life . I also feel that it is my obligation to give back so that other young men can continue to share in the same experiences in the hope that they will go out and change the world .
The Prep provides many broad reaching opportunities like donating to the annual fund or attending a reunion . However , they also provide more specific opportunities , like donating to a specific team or club or volunteering for a couple hours alongside fellow alumni .
I think the Prep is doing an amazing job living out its mission to create future leaders . I would love to see more alumni who , after establishing themselves in their chosen profession , can bring so much valuable insight and support back to the Prep .
