Mahtomedi Community Education partners with Advantage Educational Programs who provides an introduction to the ACT format and strategies for answering questions as well as instruction for the specific subject areas to be tested on the ACT College Entrance Exam . This 12-hour prep course is designed for students who wish to improve their test-taking skills and overall score on the ACT . Focal points of the program include diagnostic testing , science reasoning , math review and strategies , reading comprehension improvement , English strategies , writing essays , overcoming test anxiety , and time management .
In-School ACT Preparatory Course - $ 150 The course includes diagnostic testing , instruction in time management , overcoming test anxiety , science reasoning , English strategies and review , essay writing , reading comprehension , and math strategies and review . Learn defensive and distraction-free driving . Mahtomedi Community Education partners with Teens Driving School Inc . to offer students 14-years or older , 30-hours of Minnesota State Approved classroom instruction . The curriculum includes education in a variety of areas such as the financial impact of poor driving , at-fault accidents , liability , and more to illustrate to young drivers the consequences they face when operating a vehicle .
