Code Championship Tournament Series , Virtual Comp Coding Competition

Build a computer bot to play head-to-head against other coders . Whether this is your first Code Championship event , or if you ’ ve been competing for years , this is the perfect way to explore the competitive coding world of Code Championship . No previous coding experience necessary . The Fall 2021 Code Championship Series is a series of six tournaments in six weeks ( it ’ s ok to miss one or two ). These tournaments will be hosted online using Google Meet and the Code Championship website . If you have a modern browser like Chrome or Firefox , no additional download is required . Please come knowing how to navigate the internet ( basic typing and mouse control ). The link to the Google Meet event will be emailed two days before the tournament . Learn from an experienced drone pilot to complete challenges and earn their “ Drone Pilot ’ s License ”* from COR Robotics . Once certified , students will take to the skies with their new flying skills and compete with each other in exciting , aerial battles . Students will work with their teams and use their critical thinking skills to develop strategies for each aerial competition thrown their way . * Not FAA certified . We are Monsters is a hilarious new musical that follows human kids into a monster cabaret filled with quirky monster characters . The adventurous humans uncover vegetarian vampires and rock n ’ roll werewolves , gradually realizing there may be more to these monsters than meets the eye ! Most importantly these monsters and kids discover the importance of friendship and celebrating the attributes that make each of us different and unique . Every participant has the opportunity to have lines if they want them , and everyone will learn and perform all songs and dances onstage .
