MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETICS
REGISTRATION DEADLINE Wednesday , Sept . 1 , for all Middle School Athletics . No refunds issued after Sept . 1 . Registration closes when program maximum is met . If space permits , registrations will be accepted after Sept . 1 and a $ 15 late fee will be assessed . Teams participate in , and policies are set by , the Metro East Middle School Conference . Team sports are offered to grades 7-8 , and individual sports ( i . e . cross country , gymnastics , wrestling
and track & field ) are offered to grades 6-8 . Fall programs will finish before the MEA break Oct . 21-22 .
Cross Country : co-ed ( grades 6-8 )
Work on skills , drills and techniques to prepare for weekly competitions and conditioning for winter sports . Practices scheduled directly after school . In case of inclement weather , practices or meets may be canceled and students will be notified in school and families by email . The team will compete in meets within the Metro East Middle School Conference . Meets begin at 3:45 PM . Schedules will be available at the start of the season . Volleyball : girls ( grades 7-8 )
Work on skills , drills and techniques to prepare for weekly competitions with schools in the Metro East Middle School Conference . Games begin at approximately 3:45 PM and end around 5 / 5:30 PM . Games and schedules will be available at the start of the season . Students are bussed to away matches pending bus availability . Monday-Thursday starting Wednesday , Sept . 8-Oct . 19 2:40-4:15 PM - Practice Middle School , Gym # 2 $ 135 Minimum 12 / Maximum 36
Gymnastics : girls ( grades 6-8 )

Wrestling : co-ed ( grades 6-8 )
Estimated program offering will be Nov . 1 through Dec . 20 , Monday-Thursday , 2:45-4:15 PM . Approximately one match per week vs conference schools .
