KENT STATE SALES TEAM FINDS SUCCESS AT COMPETITIONS
The Kent State Sales Team competed virtually in several events during the 2020-21 academic year , earning accolades at each competition .
THE UNIVERSITY OF TOLEDO INVITATIONAL SALES COMPETITION Kendall Banoch , a freshman marketing major , placed 8th overall against competitors from 46 universities . Gina DiCicco , a junior managerial marketing major , was a quarter finalist for the team . The team placed in the Top Ten overall .
INTERNATIONAL COLLEGIATE SALES COMPETITION Emily Duffy , James Burg and Sophia Stevenson were quarter finalists , the Sales Team placed second and Kent State placed 9th overall among more than 80 competing universities .
The Kent State Sales Team earned accolades at numerous competitions during the 2020-21 academic year .
NATIONAL COLLEGIATE SALES COMPETITION Kent State ’ s Sales Team was represented by Chelsea Tramontano , senior managerial marketing major , and Katie Kintop , senior marketing major , both of whom advanced to the Wild Card Round .
PI SIGMA EPSILON PRO / AM NATIONAL CONFERENCE The Kent State Zeta Xi Chapter was recognized for the “ Arno Kleimenhagen Award for Sustained Excellence ” – the most prestigious award a PSE chapter can receive . This is the second year in a row that the chapter has received this award . The chapter was also a finalist for the Lewis F . Gordon Top Gold Chapter Award and received Gold Standing for the fourth consecutive year .
Rave ’ onne Henderson , a junior marketing major , was a finalist for a new event , Sports Marketing / Sales , sponsored by the New York Mets .
