LETTER FROM THE CHAIR

2020 , The Year of Challenge

But in that challenge , the year of struggle and hardship also brought a year of creativity , flexibility and compassion .
Watching our businesses adapt to an ever-changing discombobulated year has shown
me Stillwater and its community is ready for anything . But we must continue to do
our part to help during these uncanny times . How do we do that ?
Now

SHOP LOCAL ! more than ever is the time to support our local businesses and entrepreneurs . By shopping local you embrace what makes our community unique . You help strengthen our local economy . You will be creating additional jobs for our community . You are encouraging local prosperity and putting your taxes to good use .

During these unprecedented times , your Stillwater Chamber of Commerce has stayed creative and flexible by keeping relevant
information and virtual activities available for our members . The chamber has continued to promote marketing and networking opportunities along with educational programs and business development tools and resources .
It is an incredible honor to work alongside my fellow board members , chamber staff , volunteers , ambassadors , and all of our chamber members , who make Stillwater a unique , exceptional community that will always be my home .
I encourage you to join the chamber and get involved with a committee that interests you . Change starts with us . Be part of that change !
