Alane Zannotti

Stillwater is the hometown for Alane Zannotti . She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Family Relations / Child Development .

Her passion for quality early childhood education is what led her to the first part of her “ professional career .” Zannotti mainly worked with hospitals to help create on-site child care facilities for their employees . She did this in Plano , Texas , Newport Beach , Calif , and Chicago , Ill . She also helped the well- known first online giant , America Online ( AOL ), build a child care facility for their employees .
Finally , she had the opportunity to work in Washington , D . C . with the National Association for the Education of Young Children where she oversaw a team of individuals responsible for accrediting early childhood programs in 12 states and all overseas military bases .

In May 2015 , Zannotti was appointed by the Stillwater City Council , to fill Seat two previously held by Gina Noble , who was elected to mayor in April 2015 . She was elected uncontested in December 2015 for a three-year term and elected again uncontested in December 2018 for a four-year term .
Zannotti can frequently be found volunteering with running fundraisers , working community events in Meridian ’ s partner communities or serving on committees to promote economic development . She is a board member of the Guthrie and Perry Chambers of Commerce and an alumna of Leadership Stillwater ( Class XI ), Leadership Guthrie ( Class 1 ) and Leadership Oklahoma ( Class 30 ).

Life has a funny way of coming full circle . In 2005 , Zannotti had the
opportunity to come back to Stillwater and begin a second phase
of her “ professional career .” She worked for the OSU Foundation
and did fundraising for her alma mater . While working for the OSU
Foundation , she opened Zannotti ’ s Wine Bar in Downtown Stillwater in 2008 . Zannotti sold her half in 2014 and is proud the business is still thriving … plus kept her last name !
In May 2009 , Zannotti took a position with Meridian Technology Center where her focus is community development , and she is still doing today . With her role at Meridian , she is actively engaged in a variety of community service activities and boards . She regularly connects needs in the community with staff volunteers at Meridian . She also works with the Meridian Technology Center Foundation
Shannon Williams is a Stillwater native and jill of all trades . She graduated from OSU with a bachelor ’ s degree in biomedical sciences and from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry with a doctorate of dental surgery . She currently works as a dentist at the Perkins Family Clinic .
Williams is also co-owner alongside her mother of Greige Goods , a boutique located in Downtown Stillwater . Greige Goods is a unique home decor , apparel and gift boutique featuring hand-picked items and services such as in-home decorating .
A true passion for Williams is home design . She has an eye for the vintage and modern mix design
