Jeffery Corbett

For the past 23 years , Jeffery Corbett has worked to enhance the technology and services at Stillwater Medical through his work in the Stillwater Medical Foundation . He has also coordinated the high school fellowship and employee scholarship programs for several years .
Corbett began his time at Stillwater Medical in the nutrition services department and was the catering coordinator for SMC before moving into fundraising with the Foundation . He enjoys his work because no two days are the same . In addition to the programs he oversees , Corbett is also responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping , assists in planning events , developing appeals , and he also produces most of the Foundation ’ s web and social media content .
Outside of healthcare , Corbett has a strong passion for public education . For more than 20 years he has been involved with the Parent-Teacher Association . Locally he served as president of both the Highland Park Elementary and Stillwater PTA Council . He was recently elected to a second term
on the National PTA Board . He credits his work at SMC for giving him a great background in nonprofit organization and PTA for his growth in leadership ability .
Corbett is also a volunteer for Karman Legacy Hospice . It was known as Judith Karman Hospice when he first became a volunteer in the late 80s , but the mission to provide quality end-of-life care has remained the same to this day . It was through those early volunteering days Corbett saw the heart of our community and definitely impacted his desire to remain in Stillwater .
Corbett joined the Chamber Ambassadors Committee in 2019 . He has enjoyed building friendships with his fellow ambassadors while at the same time reaching out to established and new Chamber members , making certain they are aware of their benefits .
Corbett and his wife , Annette , have two granddaughters , Chloe and Wrenley , and they enjoy spending time and spoiling them as much as possible .
