ETHICS IN ACTION
Three interactive modules – “ Everyday Ethics ,” “ Online Safety & Cyberbullying ,” and “ Financial Literacy ” – engage students in 5th-12th grade to use critical thinking when facing difficult decisions and everyday dilemmas . Innovative training motivates students to hold themselves accountable for their choices through interactive group activities , active discussions and animated video . An additional module , “ Everyday Ethics for your Girl Schout Cookie Business ,” is also available to Girls Scout Troops to help them create a strong foundation for future ethical business behavior . The Ethics in Action Program was formally approved by the Council of Better Business Bureaus as a BBB branded program in 2017 . Ethics in Action is available to other BBBs throughout the country .

LAWS OF LIFE
San Antonio ’ s Laws of Life Essay Contest challenges 6th - 8th grade students to reflect on their core values by writing about the “ laws ” by which they live their lives . This award program is sponsored by responsible individuals , youth groups , character education organizations , civic groups , corporations , local businesses , foundations , and schools and colleges in the area . These groups have an interest in helping young people in the San Antonio area develop their lifelong guiding values .
