School Spirit is a defining aspect of our school culture and you’ ll see that from our love for our furry friendly mascot, Oscar the Ocelot, to wearing our Spirit Shirts on Fridays. We take every opportunity to display our pride and unity for our school.
Here at Kids R Kids West Houston, our Ocelittles and Ocelots take pride in learning and are adventurous in playing!

Penelope is a T. rex, and she’ s very good at it. She also likes to rock out on guitar! With the school talent show coming up, Penelope can’ t wait to perform for her classmates. But sharing who you are can be show-stoppingly scary, especially when it’ s not what people expect. Will Penelope get by with a little help from her friends?
We enjoyed the humorous illustrations and witty humor as the author reveals how standing out to be yourself is how to overcome the fears we all have to face.
