2021 April Newsletter | Page 6

For the month of April , our learners can look forward to more discoveries , focusing on the strength of pressure and surface tension , as well as recycled treasures in honor of Earth Day . We ’ ll also add some magic to our learning , but don ’ t worry , we won ’ t keep any secrets . We encourage you to ask your little one how we pushed an egg through a bottle or how we made milk dance . Next month , we ’ ll get down and dirty with some six-legged creatures and put our green thumbs to work .
Our vocabulary this month includes :
RAINBOW
RECYCLE
DISAPPEAR
CREATE
We had a lot to celebrate in March – from Dr . Seuss ’ birthday to seasons changing . Our older learners acted as meteorologists as they announced weekly forecasts to their peers . They also appreciated painting outside while creating drip-art to mimic falling rain . Our littlest learners were also captivated by the weather by exploring different cloud-like medium , ranging from shaving cream to cotton balls . All of our learners also participated in whimsical Seussical activities like sensory oobleck and building tall , topsy-turvy red and white hats .
Next month , we ’ ll jump into the animal kingdom and learn about different species and their springtime habitats .
