This year , the School of the Arts was more than pleased to host the very first SotA Show which highlighted the talents of students throughout the five departments which make up the School ( Architecture , Communications and Media , English , Music and Philosophy ). Despite the vastly different disciplines and cultures present in each department , the show was about coming together as a community . This was an amazing experience that allowed students , both self and staff nominated to showcase their talents live in front of other students , academic staff as well as guests from some of the placement providers affiliated with the school . The show took place in the impressive Tung Auditorium located in Liverpool ' s own Yoko Ono Lennon Centre and , from live music performances to philosophical questions , the variety was an impressive display of the range of topics and disciplines studied here .
