INBRIJA ATTAINS FDA APPROVAL
The first regulatory approval of a Parkinson ’ s treatment funded by the Foundation demonstrates that our derisking approach is working . Inbrija , a rescue therapy that reformulates levodopa into an inhaler similar to those used in asthma , was funded by MJFF in early stages of development . The Foundation also helped the drugmaker attain compelling data and additional funding to move the drug through clinical testing , assisted with patient recruitment into key clinical trials and integrated patient input in the development process .
