INBRIJA ATTAINS FDA APPROVAL
The first regulatory approval of a Parkinson’ s treatment funded by the Foundation demonstrates that our derisking approach is working. Inbrija, a rescue therapy that reformulates levodopa into an inhaler similar to those used in asthma, was funded by MJFF in early stages of development. The Foundation also helped the drugmaker attain compelling data and additional funding to move the drug through clinical testing, assisted with patient recruitment into key clinical trials and integrated patient input in the development process.
