MJFF ADDS BACHMANN- STRAUSS PRIZE FOR EXCELLENCE IN DYSTONIA RESEARCH TO MAJOR RESEARCH PRIZES
Establishing a new collaborative research alliance with The Bachmann-Strauss Dystonia and Parkinson Foundation( BSDPF), MJFF announces the addition of a new major research prize alongside the Robert A. Pritzker Prize for Excellence in Parkinson’ s Research( established in 2011). The Major Research Prizes honor researchers setting the bar for patient-centric science and therapeutic development in Parkinson’ s and dystonia, as well as mentoring the next generation of Parkinson’ s researchers.
MJFF LAUNCHES THE EDMOND J. SAFRA FELLOWSHIP IN MOVEMENT DISORDERS
In collaboration with its longtime supporter and partner the Edmond J. Safra Foundation, MJFF announces The Edmond J. Safra Fellowship in Movement Disorders. By increasing resources for specialized training for clinician-researcher neurologists, the program aims to grow the global base of movement disorder specialists treating people with Parkinson’ s disease and contributing to research toward breakthrough treatments for the disease.
