MD LEARNING CHANNEL
The MD Learning Channel enables medical professionals worldwide to avail themselves of the knowledge
and expertise of UAB Medicine physicians. You’ll find a variety of online learning courses covering most
medical specialties and discussing recent research findings, new procedures/techniques, and

UAB MEDCAST
UAB MedCast is a weekly series of continuing medical education (CME)
podcasts that highlights the latest clinical and research innovations at UAB
Medicine. Roughly 15 minutes long, each episode features a UAB Medicine
expert from among dozens of specialties and qualifies for 0.25 AMA PRA
Category 1 credits. UAB MedCast is the first CME podcast series in the region
and includes over 100 episodes so far, with new installments being added each
week. The podcast format is ideal for physicians, nurses, technicians, and other
medical professionals interested in staying abreast of important developments
