We now have two successful scrambles under our belts and a third one coming soon. Both scrambles had fields of approximately 64 players. Aside from the usual Scramble rules, for the first one, “The Little Scramble That Could,” there was a contest on the first hole to see how close a player’s drive could get to a strategically placed hula hoop. Carol Zinsli was the successful winner! For the second scramble, “Playing the Pandemic with Pleasure,” or the short version, “The Triple P Scramble,” a chipping contest was held to see who could chip into a Corona bucket. Judy Williams took the first place, with Judy Cain and Ellen Newbore as close seconds. Look for information to come regarding the last Scramble, “A Fabulous Facemask,” Sept. 15. Be sure to check your emails or the Charbonneau Niners’ website.
