Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth has a robust regional STEMI program , collaborating with area free-standing emergency departments , urgent care centers and community hospitals to provide quick treatment for patients who experience a STEMI ( segment elevation myocardial infarction ). Patients are transported to the emergency department and are directly admitted to the Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital – Fort Worth cath lab for rapid intervention .
