Born with dyslexia – ( a learning disorder that involves difficulty reading due to problems identifying speech sounds and learning how they relate to letters and words ) in the slums of Port Saeed , Egypt in 1957 opportunities were pretty much in low supply ; yet young Sayed Badreya was determined to live his dream life – not in Egypt but in a land very far away .
AMERICA – Arriving in the land where he came to be the man he has assured everyone back home he will be with $ 2,000 ; Sayed Badreya couldn ’ t ’ wait to get started with his own ‘ American Dream ’. A dream he says he has lived to see come true and now wants to share his story and vision to the rest of the world . Starting off as a dish washer , young Sayed Badreya didn ’ t forget what took him to America in the first place – his family and dream . Whilst working and supporting his family back home , Sayed enrolled himself in school to get necessary education he needs for the journey ahead . Whilst in college , he will feature in productions by friends as an actor . The narrative of modern cinema will be incomplete without a paragraph reserved for the Arabian character in Iron Man , Soul Plane and The Dictator . Now running his own show on Cartoon Network titled Apples & Onions – Sayed Badreya in how own words “... is serving Hollywood what it wants ”.
