GREAT TEXAS COASTAL BIRDING TRAIL
The Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail runs the entire length of the Texas Gulf Coast and is home to more than 450 species
of birds. Birding enthusiasts search for birds throughout the parks, nature preserves, and bird sanctuaries along the trail. It
shouldn’t be too hard to spot them, as Texas is home to more bird species than any other state in the United States. League City
sits on the Upper Texas Coast portion of this trail, and is home to hundreds of bird species, making it the perfect place to get
started in birding.
