After five years in the restaurant industry, Jeff
knew it was time for a change. Now a senior
consultant in the health space, he’s excited for

How did you switch industry?
Going from being a restaurant manager to a job
in business analytics or finance is not simple.
My career advisor was an amazing resource for
me. We worked on refining my goals and how to
achieve them. She helped open a lot of doors and
switch my focus to leveraging my network—which
is what got me introduced to the company I now

How have you changed since Hult?
I’m currently supporting a large-scale IT project—
my first ever role in IT. Before Hult, I might have
shied away from this challenge, but now every day is
an opportunity to learn something new. I’d even say
that my fresh perspective makes me more valuable
to the team. Other

I can say with confidence that Hult prepared me
for my new job and career. While the technical
skills have been helpful, it’s the leadership,
presentation, and relationship skills that Hult
emphasizes at every step in the process that
have been the true life-changers.
