This year has presented us all with a unique set of challenges , requiring us to change plans and quickly adapt to new circumstances related to the coronavirus pandemic .
As your industry ’ s state regulatory agency , the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission understands the critical role you play in the Texas economy and the importance of providing you with fair regulation and clear communication as dynamics evolve .
That ’ s why TABC has worked with TPSA and Governor Greg Abbott ’ s office to cut regulatory red tape and ensure your businesses can operate under the new public health protocols . And while much focus has been placed on the coronavirus crisis , TABC must also move forward to implement changes enacted by the Texas Legislature in 2019 . We hoped to be with you at TPSA ’ s 73rd Annual Convention & Trade Show in Fort Worth to provide important updates on these transformational changes . But like you , we must adapt to present circumstances and update you in a different way in the coming months .
