Contact your county courthouse for wedding license inf iormation and follow their instructions. If you currrently live outside the state of Michigan, you must contact the Mackinac County Courthouse to apply for your marriage license, at 906-643-7300. The license costs $30 and is valid for 33 days. Simply plan to pick up the license just before you come to the Island for the wedding at 100 South Marley Street, St. Ign­ ace. The courthouse is open Mon. through Fri. 8:30am until 4:30 pm only, and closed on weekends and holidays.
