Born and raised in Venice, Chef & Owner Stefano Roman arrived in Chicago at 33. He
began cooking professionally simply because his natural talent enabled him to do
so. PR Italian Bistro specializes in rustic, ‘bistro-style’ Italian-inspired, global cuisine.
Stefano’s talents are further showcased in his daily blackboard menu, where his
creativity shines and dishes are composed based on his imaginative cravings and local
market availability. With Chef Stefano’s creations at the forefront, the Bar at PR, headed
up by partner and wife, Juliana Montebello-Roman, offers a hand-picked selection of
world-class brews, a global wine list, only top shelf spirits and original recipe cocktails.
