As you prepare to leave Archbishop Mitty High and step into your
life, it is with joy that we watch you launch. We are so proud of the
person you are. Your kindness, and compassion is what the world
needs. Life will bring opportunity and obstacles, but not to worry!
If there were ever a time to dare, to make a difference, to embark
on something worth doing, it is now. Not for any grand cause,
necessarily –but for something that tugs at your heart. Chase
something that is worth your aspiration. If it’s inspired from within
your soul seek it with intention, knowing success is built in His
destiny for you. As you pursue your purpose, know that you are
the daughter of the King of Kings! (Jeremiah 29:11)

Dear Lydia and Emmanuel,
When you came into this world, you brought a
love into our hearts that we had never experienced
before. When you spoke your first word, when you
walked your first steps, our lives filled with joy.
With every developmental milestone you reached,
we reveled in joy and celebration. You taught us
the meaning of love -- true, unconditional love. As
you continue to grow and become an adult, you will
live your own life. You will have times of happiness and times of disappointment. You will fall in
love, and you will have your heart broken. Life has its ups and downs and is not always fair, but
we know your faith, strength and resilience will get you through.
We will leave you with an advice of choosing interdependence rather than independence,
respect for yourselves, integrity, strong work ethic, and to keep your focus on nurturing your
relationship with God. Keep dreaming big and imagining possibilities.
