Did you know?
Volunteering has
positive implications
that go beyond mental
health. Studies show
that volunteering helps
people who donate
their time feel more
socially connected, thus
warding off loneliness
and depression, which
contributes to lower
blood pressure and a
longer life span.

What’s your passion? We encourage our employees to volunteer their time and support community programs
that reflect Renown’s mission, vision and values or connect with those that share your passion.
Employee Volunteerism Highlights:
• Renown provides full-time employees with 4 hours of paid time per quarter for volunteer activities.
• Through the Employee Volunteer Committee’s Sponsorship Program, employees can apply to the committee
to request a monetary donation to support your participation in local events.
• Dollars for Doers encourages work in the community. If you give 25+ volunteer hours with an eligible not-for-
profit, you can apply for a $250 grant.
• Employees who serve on a qualified not-for-profit board may request a matching donation from Renown, up
to $1,000 annually.
For more information on volunteering, please reference the Employee Volunteerism Policy on Inside Renown in
