The Sanaag Specialty Hospital is Providing Life-Saving Healthcare in Somaliland
The local communities in the Sanaag region of Somaliland suffer from some of the highest maternal and child mortality rates in the world . With a large portion of dōTERRA ® Frankincense resins used for essential oil coming from this region , dōTERRA and the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation ® sought the best way to support and empower these communities . Working directly with local leaders , they determined the greatest need in Sanaag was access to healthcare .
