For 10 years , the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation ® has been working to empower individuals and communities worldwide to make positive sustainable change . Now , at our 10-year anniversary , we ’ re shifting gears . Our focus going forward is to empower Wellness Advocates to get involved and # EngageInGood with us to create increased positive and sustainable change , at home and abroad .
Research has demonstrated that people who serve experience elevated mood , less depression , better relationships , and decreased loneliness . Service is good for the body and the soul . Too often , we assume that to be charitable , we have to organize a massive service project or take a trip overseas . This isn ’ t true . Philanthropy and humanitarian work can be done in your community , your neighborhood , or even your own home .
The dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation has sought — and will continue to seek — ways to bring healing and hope through our Seven Areas of Impact . However , one organization can ’ t change the world .
