As the pandemic wore on , people in urban areas discovered they could work from anywhere as long as it had a fast and reliable broadband connection . This means new opportunities for rural and small communities . AWB built on its longstanding advocacy for rural vitality with a two-day virtual summit focused on helping rural communities flourish . Topics included broadband and digital equity , telehealth and child care .
