Think of it like this ; let ’ s say an archi- tect designs an “ L ” shaped build- ing . Because there is a corner where the two wings meet , the architect places a bush in accordance with
interna- tional building codes , to take
away the harshness of the angle / corner
. Then along comes a security puke and recommends a camera to watch behind the bush .
If security had been involved at the beginning , the harsh corner could have been avoided and sub- sequently a camera would not have been bought ( short term cost
) nor would there be a
requirement repair / maintenance or guards for monitoring ( long term costs ).
