GOLDEN FLASH ASSET MANAGEMENT GROUP
The Golden Flash Asset Management Group ( GFAM ), comprised of students in the College of Business Administration , provides participants the opportunity to manage $ 1 million in Kent State University assets through four separate funds .
The group encountered a unique learning environment this spring as group members worked to collaborate remotely to actively manage stock portfolios during social distancing orders related to COVID-19 . GFAM also implemented a dedicated weekly COVID-19 newsletter to keep members updated on the pandemic and its corresponding financial impacts . The group successfully demonstrated fiscal responsibility , even with the added challenges of an unprecedented health crisis .
